Chapter 1084: The Key

The page itself had turned red in the man's blood. Looking at the mark on the page, Karyk could feel that he had probably written it while his hand was covered in blood.

"If he died that day, then what happened to Aether? Did the clans take it? No, if they had taken it, why would the Angels be trying to find the key to enter this world?"

Reading the diary, Karyk had understood why the Angels were after him, and why the battlefield where he appeared was different from what he had heard.

This world was divided in two parts. The outer part was where the heirs of the clans came to train and kill the beasts of this world.

Although the beasts were strong, but they weren't Aetherians. They were beasts born in this world with only a slight trace of abyss.

That's why tokens made from their bodies could only lead a person to the outer realm. To enter the inner realm, they needed an Aetherian, which he had believed to be an abyssal being.
