Love at first sight

Pulling away, she nervously bite her lower lip, "Seb, I do love to come. I mean you can take grandma and Kang-dae along but–" Tuckling a strand of hair behind her ear, "If you'll want me to attend the party then you don't have to mind with my outfit. I mean, I'm not a fan of gowns but baggies."

Tilting her chin upwards, he smiled, "Its okay by me, I don't mind at all. Go in and put on whatever you want."

Widening her eyes, she beamed, "Sure!" Giving him a tight hug, "You're one lucky friend anyone should have." Pulling away, "I'll inform grandma and Kang-dae about it." Without waiting for his reply, she dashed into the mansion.

Tuckling his hands into his pockets, he chuckled.

Outside the courtroom

When the wedding was over, friends, families and well-wishers exchanged hugs and gifts with the newly wedded couples, Mr Ryan and Mrs Anastasia Flynn.

Giving her a sweet peck on both cheeks, Jin-joo beamed, "Congratulations Mrs Flynn."

"Thank you so much Jin," Pulling away, she smiled, "Am so sorry I didn't inform you about it earlier. I didn't want Ryan to find out openly."

Letting out a chuckle, Jin-joo bumped her nose, "Come on, I understand. But you shouldn't have done that. It was a brave step you took out there."

"Please tell her, we've argued on this topic before." Giving Jin-joo a hug, Nelly remarked, "Anastasia owe us an explanation."

Pulling away, Jin-joo chuckled, "I guess she does."

"Nobody bothered to call me into the conversation." Shoving some snacks into her mouth, Tasha groaned, "How could you guys forget about me."

"Don't be offended, please accept the apology."

Looking at Anastasia, Nelly crossed her arms and raised her brows, "Start spilling."

"What more to say? I had to do it since Ryan stopped allowing me to spend my own money." She sighed.

"Ugh, I thought I was the only woman whom haven't touched her money for decades." Tasha added.

"So you made up this wedding so you can at least spend some of your wedding?" Jin-joo curiously inquired.

Nodding her head, she sighed, "Exactly Jin,"

Looking around, Nelly slightly furrowed her brows, "But its quite lavish. You shouldn't have spent much though."

"You call this lavish?" Anastasia chuckled, "This is the little I could offer." Shrugging her shoulders, "Let's wait until baby shower."

"I bet Ryan will start keeping a close watch on you starting from today after the surprise you gave to him today."

"And that baby shower, he is gonna have it done himself." Tasha chortled.

Lingering her finger on the wedding lace, Nelly beamed, "Damn this is gonna be the exact gown I'll pick for my very own wedding."

"I know, it's beautiful, right." Jin-joo smiled.

Pausing for a while, Tasha inquired, "Why did you chose registry over church?"

"Oaths Tasha. I do trust my man a lot but to my choice, I guess court weddings are better than weddings done in the church." She stated.

"You think?"

Vigorously nodding her head, she exclaimed, "Uh huh, they're based on oaths but churches are more on vows. Anything can happen, and vows might dismiss but believe me when I say oaths are more like bonded commitment."

"What's the difference? Oaths, vows, they both are promises and pledge made to each other." Jin-joo explained.

Nodding her head in agreement, Tasha added, "I support that. I had my wedding in a renowned church. Its been four months since Donald and I got married after three years of dating."

Throwing her hands into her mouth, Jin-joo gasped, "Three years? Is that a course duration in college?"

Bursting into laughter, Nelly placed her hand on Jin-joo's shoulder, "No, its a romantic relationship in reality. Mine is approximately five years." When Jin-joo gave the widest astonish expression, she chuckled, "Oh yeah, Calvin and I started dating since college. Though he was my senior in college."

"Woah,"

"Ryan and I had dated for five years too before we finally got married today." Looking at the wedding ring on her finger, she squealed, "I can't get the moment where he said 'I do' Out of my head."

.....

Poking his arm, Sebastian warned, "From today start acting mature according to your age."

Rolling his eyes, he scoffed, "Hello, am still 28. Its a blooming age."

"So Anastasia has been making arrangements for these for days now and you didn't even knew about it?" Bursting into laughter, Calvin patted his shoulder, "You need a therapist."
