"By the way if you address me as old, then what will you call your grandma?" Raising his brows, he took a sip from his glass of wine, "She's just 80 years old. Still strong and vibrant like 40s."
"Sometimes I wonder if grandma doesn't want to grow old or not."
"Stop thinking trash of your grandma. There's no one who's gonna live in this planet forever. We grow old by the day."
Nodding his head in agreement, Dong-Hyun crackled, "Yes I do know, but whenever she puts on skinny jeans and add forty layer of makeups, I bet you won't call her 80 but 30."
"Your grandma was a model back then or have you forgotten?"
"No I haven't."
"So keep your mouth to it's place. If she was seated here and you stated something like that, I bet you would have gotten a free to air slap from nowhere." Lee wried.
Placing his hand on his chest, Dong-Hyun sighed, "You have no idea how happy I am dad. If she had come to stay with us here in Korean, my life would have being a living hell."
"Don't you think Jin-joo is facing exactly the same thing over there? And you are going to stay with her over there too."
"Apparently, Jin-joo is not at her place right now." When Lee gave him a quizzical expression, he scoffed, "She's living with her boyfriend."
"So Kang-dae is the one accompanying her?"
"Uh huh, aren't they the same thing as well? If Kang-dae was a female I do have called him grandma's clone." Taking a sip from his wine, "Innocent me have to face her mysterious wrath when I get there."
"I thought you said you're building a mansion in LA few miles away from jin-joo's."
"Absolutely, that's right. But it's still under construction as am speaking. It's include one of the reasons why I'm traveling to L.A." He explained.
"Hmm, it has to be a big one then. I mean you've been on that construction since two months now."
Rubbing his index finger on his lower lip, Dong-Hyun shook his head, "Of course it is. Actually it's way too bigger than the one am living in here in Korea. Sincerely, it's taking much time to construct because it's close to the beach."
"Officially a beach house?" Lee raised his brows. He love beach houses. He has more than six beach houses in Malibu.
"Yup, don't worry when I get there, I'll send pictures." Pausing for a long while, he held his hand in his, "For my duty spaces, I put you in charge. Especially for mom's sake. Please, be there for her."
Tightening his grip around his hand, Lee smiled and nodded his head. "She's my wife, your mother, am forever gonna be by her side. Be less worried about that."

Evening
Los Angeles
Sebastian and Jin-joo's place
"Mrs Maggie, please sit."
"Thanks ma'am, but I rather stand. If boss comes in and find me sitting next to you, then I might lose my job." She politely remarked.
"But Sebastian is not back yet. He has an important work to do in the office and before he comes back, we might be done with our conversation." Jin-joo stated.
"Yes but–"
"I assure you, you won't lose your job, okay?" Tapping the empty space beside her, Jin-joo instructed, "Sit."
Abiding to her words, Mrs Maggie nodded her head and sat beside her.
Looking at the woman whom was busy clasping her hands like she had a severe cold. "Mrs Maggie, do you have a cold?"
"Cold–" Vigorously nodding her head, "No ma'am, I don't."
"Then free yourself, stop being nervous, It's just the both of us here. I don't eat humans nor kill them."
Mrs Maggie shook her head and released her grasp a bit. The thought of Jin-joo lashing hard on her for what happened at the mansion a day ago made her feel nervous.
Taking a deep breath, "Breath, okay? Take some deep breaths. I'm only taking few minutes of your bedtime, is that fine by you?"
"Yes ma'am." She lowered her head while answering.
Crossing her legs, Jin-joo relaxed her hands on her lap and cleared her throat, "About the scenes Sebastian's guards justified to me when I came in, please I do want to know if it's true or not."
Widening her eyes in shock, Mrs Maggie scratched her head fearfully, "Ma'am I––I have no idea bout what you're saying."
"Mrs Maggie, I just said scenes. Don't you know what scenes are?" She raised her brows.
"Yes I do know."
"And you're the housekeeper, if the guards who are outside the mansion could know about the things going on in the mansion, then how much better than you who lives in the mansion with us?"
After contemplating for a while, Mrs Maggie rubbed her hands together and knelt down in front of her. Causing Jin-joo to give her a quizzical look. "Ma'am, please promise me I won't lose my job after explaining this to you."
"Mrs Maggie why are you kneeling in front of me? Please stand up."
"Yes I will but first of all promise me ma'am. I don't want to lose the only source to my daily bread." She pleaded.
"Yes I promise you won't lose your job." Helping her to get up, Jin-joo frowned, "Please stand up and sit down. How can a woman old enough to be my mother be kneeling down in front of me. It's embarrassing."
Sitting beside her, Mrs Maggie sighed in dejection. "Ma'am, you're the most nicest person I've ever come across in my whole life."
"Thank you for saying that and please don't ever kneel in front of me again." Handing a cheque sheet to her, Jin-joo added, "Take this."
Receiving it from her, Mrs Maggie startled and shivered after seeing what was written on the sheet. "M–Ma'am this–"
"Hmm, it's a genuine way of saying thank you from the bottom of my heart." Taking a deep breath, she smiled, "That's a cheque of two million. I want you to take it as a compensation from me to you."
