Happy Birthday

Jasper left him alone for the rest of the day. Once the school ended, Silas sneaked out way before Jasper or any of his guy members could catch up to him.

Silas went directly to the cave, curious about what the surprise was. He walked in when someone covered his eyes from behind before he could get a look at the inside.

"Happy birthday." Crystal whispered in his ears.

It was way astonishing for Silas as he forgot his birthday and even his parents never wished him then how is it that she knows. A warmth and sense of familiarity took over him. Tears gushed over his eyes, thinking someone cared for him.

Crystal was bewildered seeing him break down into tears, afraid that she may have upset him somehow she withdrew her hand to check if he was ok. Out of nowhere, he turned around to face her and abruptly pulled her into a tight hug.

"Thank you…" he mumbled in between his tears, hugging her tightly. This must be the best gift he ever got for himself.

Crystal smiled and stroked his back, hugging him. She had no idea just two words could make someone this happy. What he had gone through to be this happy? Did his parents never wish him well? Or no one ever did?

After a few minutes, Silas finally stopped crying, and let go of him. He was embarrassed by what stunt he had done just now. She must be disgusted by him. Silas cursed himself for doing that to her.

"I am so—..." His words were left unspoken when a pair of soft lips touched his. Flabbergasted by what was going on, Silas remained still in his place, even forgetting to breathe while he was at it.

Feeling no reaction from his side, Crystal let go of his lips. She cursed herself for doing that but she couldn't hold it. He looked so cute that she just couldn't hold it in. Crystal was ashamed to death for being so impulsive that she couldn't even look at his eyes.

"I-i…" Crystal tried to make up an excuse but then, a strong arm pulled her by the waist. Their bodies tangled, and Silas looked straight in her eyes. His eyes burned with a desire that Crystal has never seen before.

Her heart almost jumped out of her chest, seeing the docile lamb he was suddenly turning so dominating. Her throat itched and burned the longer she looked into the soft lips she had tasted before. The urge to taste the cinnamony and honey-like flavour on his lips was unbearable. Crystal swallowed hard, feeling her whole body burning up just like his eyes.

No, no! This was crazy! She must go away from him before she does something that will make her regret it and make him look at her as some vile woman who takes advantage of guys. Crystal tried to push him away by the chest but with every push, he pulled her closer.

"You started the fire in me, now only you can extinguish it," Silas whispered in her ears, his warm breath tingling her skin. Crystal remained frozen, hearing him and looking at his eyes.

Her body realises the danger yet surrenders to it. Her legs turned weak just looking at him. If his arm didn't hold her, she would have plopped down on the ground.

Silas moved closer to her, and somehow her body instinctively moved closer to him and before her consciousness woke up, Crystal found herself kissing him. Her hands wrapped around his neck while her lips moved in sync with him. Her mouth asked for more, the more she tasted those lips her hunger grew.

Unable to control it, she slipped her tongue in, savaging the honey-like sweetness. Crystal wanted more of it but was unable to breathe any longer she had to pull herself away, panting hard.

Silas looked at her, her face flushed up and him back to normal. He hid his lips with his hand unable to look straight into her eyes. The little guy was back, Crystal couldn't help but chuckle. He was cute.

On hearing her chuckle, he peeked at her through his lashes. Crystal couldn't help but give a small peck on his cheeks and hug him tight. "You are cute as the lamb." She muttered in his ears and pulled herself away.

Silas sighed hearing her, she didn't mind his dominant nature. He rarely showed it up, since many find it disgusting or at least all his crush did and bully did. So he tried to remain calm and composed, mostly not talking. Somehow it turned into his real personality however today he went back to his old self.

"Let's cut the cake." Crystal dragged him aside as he was busy with thoughts.

Back to the Club~

"Crystal!" Silas called her on the street, almost losing her but luckily it was already late and the streets were mostly empty.

Crystal stopped in her tracks hearing the familiar voice. She turned around to see him standing, huffing probably from running. But instead of smiling, her face turned into a frown of disgust.

Those same eyes she was passionate about once and the same guy she once crushed on the most had become her worst nightmare. That's what he became in her eyes.

She instantly turned her back on him and her hands were shaking. Aysel and others look at him curious who this guy was this time. With trembling hands, she pulled the Aysel skirt, "let's go." She whispered.

Aysel nodded, worried seeing how pale Crystal's face turned out. Aysel put her arms around her shoulder, turning her head away.

And in the next second, no one knew what happened but Crystal was held in his arms and the only thing she last heard was three gunshots and her whole world turned black.

That was the last time she saw her friend and the outer world.
