"What?" Crystal blurted out in surprise. Her eyes flickered with disbelief.
Silas smiled, patient with her. He understood where this question came from. When you are a teenager, you tend to make a lot of mistakes. He also did some that he can only regret.
"Relax. That thing was around five years ago. I am no longer that." Silas explained, patting her hair.
Crystal said nothing, she just nodded to his words and smiled and let him kiss her lips.
"I will go check out. Come out once you are ready, they will show you the way out." He told her before bidding her goodbye and putting his old clothes back on. Silas kissed on her forehead once he was done putting clothes on and bid her goodbye.
Before yesterday, he never stayed there. Only visited her everyday. But she makes him leave as soon as he comes.

2years ago…
Crystal slowly opened her eyes to find herself in a ginormous bed with huge windows reflecting light. The room looked clean with pastel shades, an elegant and sleek look. Something she prefers.
Unsure what was happening she got from her bed, her eyes curiously scanning every part of the room.
She remembered going to a club with her besties and getting into a fight with Issac and then leaving. After that she had no idea what happened.
A deep frown appeared on her clear forehead as Crystal tried hard to remember. Soon the door was flung open, grabbing her attention.
Her gaze averted towards the man who walked in. She slowly looked up from the clean shoes to the sleek suit. She was impressed by his taste until her eyes landed on his face.
Sheer horror appeared on her face. Her already pale face turned paler. She took a step back, not wanting to believe. The monster was standing right infront of her.
The memory that she was trying to remember came gushing over one by one. He came to her when she was walking out and forcefully pulled her to his side.
And the three gunshot she heard… She sprinted towards the door to leave. This can't be true. Her girlfriends can't be dead right? He will not kill them, right?
Crystal tried to make herself believe nothing happened but she herself was sure about it. Knowing what kind of monster he was, she can't be sure until she sees them alive with her own eyes.
Crystal tried to walk out of the door when a hand grabbed her waist, and carried her back to the bed amidst her struggling and wailing. Voice was stuck in her throat no matter how hard she tried.
The door went further and further away. She glared at the man who was carrying her back to the bed.
In anger, Crystal, having no choice, bite onto his upper arms. He was still wearing a suit, her biting rarely had any effect on him.
Silas patiently put her down on the bed, and cleaned her legs. With a worried voice he finally asked,"Are you okay?"
Crystal didn't answer anything, and kicked his hand away. She tried to crawl out from the other side but as soon her delicate legs landed on the floor the door was shut with a thud.
Silas remained at his original when Crystal looked at him. She then turned around and looked at the door. It was really close, afraid if she didn't go out now she would be stuck there forever.
She bottled off towards it, trying to open the door. As she expected it was locked but that didn't stop her from trying. She banged loud on the door hoping someone would open. Crystal tried to shout but no voice came out from her mouth.
"It's no use." Silas calmly answered walking up to her.
Crystal heard him and looked back with him. Seeing him step closer, her eyes searched for a weapon that could save her from him.
Fortunately she saw a knife in the fruit basket. Crystal rushed up and grabbed the knife pointing at him.
Silas, who was calm all this time, knitted his brows together. The signs of worry were clear in his pitch-black eyes.
"Don't!" In a trembling voice, he tried to stop her.
Silas tried to take a step closer to her, in worry she would harm herself. Crystal saw it. afraid he may do what he did four years ago.
If she can't escape from hell or kill him. She will prefer killing herself over letting him get close.
Crystal didn't hesitate a second before putting the knife on her neck. The terror on seeing her putting knife on her. Silas took a few steps to take that knife away.
However the moment he took a step further, Crystal grip on the knife got tighter which resulted in her jaded tint neck soon getting tainted with the deep red blood oozing out of the wound.
"Stop! I will stay away." Silas put his hands up in the air, surrendering to her stubbornness.
If he doesn't, she may really kill herself and nowhere he wants it. It's fine if she hurts herself, but never. More than her he will be in pain.
Seeing her bleed right now, aches his heart more than she could imagine. Crystal kept the knife on her throat, but the grip was loosen up.
Silas sighed seeing that grip was loosen. Her apricot eyes kept them fixated on him, as she slowly walked towards the door keeping as much distance from him.
Silas didn't force her or walk any closer, he remained at his place even seeing her reach the door.
Crystal kept her face towards him, gaze intact on him. Her delicate fingers reached the lock and it was still locked.
Crystal tried to say but voice was still stuck on her throat. To signal him to open it, Crystal put the knife back on the wound.
On knowing what she was doing, Silas yelled,"Don't! Open the door!" He ordered. Soon the door was unlocked and taking the opportunity she dashed out.
