Elian vs Jaex

One could hardly see anything due to the thick smoke. Everything was on fire. The tents and… the bodies. Elian couldn't believe what his eyes witnessed. What the hell just happened?

He heard moans of pain… he heard crying… he smelled blood.

Blood? Elian looked everywhere and it was then that he realized that the ground was covered by liters of blood. His stomach churned and he nearly vomited.

Yaima was trembling and she clung to Nahuel's arm, whose eyes were wide open, full of terror.

What the hell had happened? They had attacked the camp while Elian was gone. And had they all died? All the children?

'No, no, no,' Elian shook his head, denying the obvious thing. Denying what his eyes saw.

'Damn!'

Captain Jaex's silhouette moved through the smoke and flames. A figure lunged at that cyborg. Elian recognized him; it was Katan: his companion, his partner, his faithful friend.

"Katan!" Elian yelled. But before Katan heard him, Captain Jaex impaled him with one of his swords. The razor-sharp silver blade pierced the beast boy's stomach and the pointed tip exited through his back.

Katan coughed up blood.

"KATAAAAAAAAAAAN!" Elian's piercing scream drowned out the crackling of the flames. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The beast boy fell limp and stiff at Jaex's feet. The man, appeased, spare, shook his sword, and drops of blood spattered the ground.

Yaima gasped and Nahuel hugged her.

Elian clenched his fists, filled with uncontrollable anger. The pain of seeing his friend die was indescribable. He had never felt anything like this before.

The rage was such that he did not hear Nahuel's voice, who told him to flee. No, Elian felt that his heart was going to burst into flames. He saw Captain Jaex, saw his feelingless face, his emotionless eyes, and wanted to rip his skin off.

"JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEX!" Elijah yelled.

They risked their lives in the abyss for nothing. It was all in vain. All the demon beast children had been killed. And Jaex had to pay.

Elian squeezed his Treasure between his fingers, raised his hand, and exclaimed:

"TRANSFORMATION!"

Fush! Threads of purple light wrapped around him, so intense that Nahuel and Yaima had to cover their eyes. When the glow faded, Elian was wearing purple armor, which covered his chest, his arms, and from his knees down. On his head, he wore a helmet that would expose his face if it wasn't for the mask he wore.

"Elian, no!" Nahuel yelled, "We have to run away!"

Elian looked at Nahuel. "Jaex is mine. Don't you dare interfere," his voice was low, but full of character.

The cyborg raised his eyebrows at the sight of Elian wearing the purple armor.

"You don't want to fight me," Jaex was on guard.

"You will regret it," Elian growled, getting into a combat stance, "I WILL MAKE YOU BEG FOR YOUR LIFE!"

FUUUSH! In a blink, Elian propelled himself towards Jaex, it was like a purple spark. It was so fast that he almost hit the captain's neck. However, the captain was quick enough to jump back several meters and avoid the attack.

FUUUSH! Elian surged forward like purple lightning and threw a fist at Jaex. The captain blocked with his swords. However, the impact was such that he was thrown to the ground. BOOM! An explosion upon hitting the ground.

"YOU WILL BEG FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" Elian fell on Jaex as if he was a devastating thunder. It caused an explosion of electricity, fire, smoke, and rocks.

The cyborg was taking hit after hit. Would he be able to withstand such devastating attacks?

"Enough!" Jaex yelled. It was time to fight back.

The Legion captain moved like a blue spark. FUSH! Purple flash and blue flash collided with each other. BOOM! When they collided, a wave of wind was produced that made Nahuel, Gabu, and Yaima stagger.

FUSH! BOOM! FUSH!

At one point in the battle, between crashes and explosions, Elian's mask fell apart.

Then, Elian's face was finally revealed. He was pale, with delicate features, like a woman's. Gray eyes full of rage.

"I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!" Elian shouted, completely overcome by anger.

FUSH! BOOM! FUSH! BOOM, BOOM!

The crashes and explosions suddenly stopped. Everything was silent. Only the crackling of the flames and the blowing of the wind were heard.

Elian felt something cold in his stomach.

'Something's not right,' he thought.

He was paralyzed. Then he felt a piercing pain shoot up from his stomach to his neck. He coughed up blood.

He lowered his head and shuddered to see that one of Jaex's swords had pierced his stomach.

"No…," Elian staggered.

Jaex gave a crooked smile.

"I thought you would make me pay," he said arrogantly, "but in the end…. You will die the same way as your friend."

Elian tried to reply, but only drops of blood came from his mouth.

Jaex pulled his sword from the boy's guts, and he fell to his knees, watching the crimson liquid flow nonstop from his wound.

'Katan… I have failed you…'

Elian's vision blurred and the boy almost fell unconscious and perhaps... dead. However, at the last second, before passing out, he heard the voice of his best friend. Katan's harsh voice.

He tried to understand what his friend was telling him, but he couldn't follow. However, it sounded like words of encouragement.

'I can't give up now... no, no, no...'

Elian gathered all of his power into his arm, which was enveloped by purple lightning.

"First elemental skill...," Elian whispered, "LIGHTNING BLADE!"

Fush! In the blink of an eye, Elian launched himself at Jaex and pierced through his chest. The cyborg didn't see the attack coming. He had been overconfident. He thought that he had already won and that the fight was over.

Elian fell to the ground, weak. Jaex saw the hole in his chest and her eyes widened. Elian's hand was used like a sword covered in lighting.

"Hydro-blade!" someone yelled. Was it Yaima?

'What was that?' Elian wondered. A full amount of water, with the shape of a curved blade, hit Jaex and threw him into the air.

"I will take Elian's body," Nahuel said.

Then Elian's eyelids felt too heavy. So he let the darkness engulf him and he waited for death.
