The Battle of Kraimer part 1

Alya caught the sword in midair. She masterfully moved and parried an attack from one of the crew's demons. Both clashed steel, until a third opponent joined, another sailor demon.

Now the girl was fighting two demons at once. She did what she could, dodging, blocking, and countering.

"I need my Treasure!" She shouted.

BROOOOOSH! A hot flame flew over her head. Alya ducked to avoid being burned.

"AAAAAAH!" One of the demons in the crew yelled. His clothes were engulfed in flames. He ran from one side to the other, while his partner looked at him in a daze, not knowing very well what to do. "AAAAAAAAAAH! HELP, HELP!"

Alya saw that the culprit was Igneous, using the powers and armor given to him by the eon.

"You are a bloody traitor!" Kalina drew her sword and lunged at the boy. He blocked the sharp silver blade with the bracers of his armor.

"I'm sorry," he replied, flashing that smug smile, "but I was never on your side. So technically... I didn't betray you."

Kalina gritted her teeth and swung her sword at the boy. Over and over, as he slashed with his bracers.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The demon engulfed in flames jumped overboard. Alya couldn't help but screw up her face. One of the crew's demons lunged at her. The girl reacted quickly, blocked with her sword, and kicked her attacker in the stomach.

Other demons swung at Alya, but she warded them off with ease as she closed in on the captain.

BROOOSH! Another flare that made Kalina keep her distance from Igneous.

Alya took advantage of the captain's confusion to slash her. WOW! It was a quick, precise, and clean cut. She cut off a part of Kalina's pants. A single attack, a single second was enough.

"AAAAH!" The woman screamed and Alya's Treasure rolled across the black, weathered, damp wood of the floor.

The girl lunged to catch the little green sphere. Then an explosion sound. The ship lurched, and dozens of black wooden shards flew into the air. What had that been?

"Uh-oh," Said Igneous when he saw that the Legion ship had begun its attack. "They are shooting at us!

Boom, boom! The ship lurched again, causing everyone to stop fighting and lose their balance. Smoke covered the deck.

"I'll be the tank," Nahuel announced, standing at the prow of the fishing boat.

Elian and Gabu looked at each other's faces, confused. "What are you talking about?" the furry little creature asked. "Why do you use such weird words?"

"What this rabbit said," Elian pointed at Gabu.

"HEY! I'm not a rabbit! I AM LORD GABU!"

Elian rolled his eyes. "Yes, yes, whatever."

Nahuel scratched his head. He had forgotten that Gabu and Elian were from another world and didn't understand any of the gamer terminologies.

"Do you know what a tank is?" The boy asked Yaima.

The girl nodded. "Yeah… I… I worked at…a maid cafe. Gamer clients arrived there."

'Well, one less person to explain to,' the boy said to himself.

"My role is shielder," explained Nahuel, "so I will be at the forefront of the attack. I will take care of protecting you."

"You speak clearly now, human child," Gabu folded his arms.

The pirate ship had engaged one of the Legion ships. Elian had proposed to take advantage of that attack to join the fight. Nahuel agreed. They could only pass through if they attacked the Legion.

According to Elian, they could win.

BOOM! The pirate ship exchanged fire with the Legion.

'I hope the power of the eons is enough,' the boy thought. He trusted his powers, but he was worried about Yaima. Could she fight?

"Then," Nahuel continued, "I'll take the vanguard, Elian will stay behind me, and we'll take advantage of his speed for quick attacks. It's important that Elian attack and then get back behind me. And Yaima… Yaima will be behind Elian and she will be in charge of healing our wounds and trapping the enemies in water capsules so that Elian can finish them off."

"I will be the healer," the girl said. Nahuel agreed. The formation that he was proposing was a classic of online games. Although they were only three: a tank, a flanker, and a healer.

'It would be nice to have a DPS,' thought the boy.

BOOM! The shots continued against the pirate ship.

"How will we get to the ship?" Elijah asked. "If this ship gets close, she would take the cannon balls."

"That's a good question," Nahuel admitted.

"I…," Yaima intervened, "I can take us…"

Nahuel, Gabu, and Elian looked at each other's faces as if asking themselves 'really?'

"I can do it," Yaima reaffirmed.

"Are you sure we can walk on water?" Nahuel asked, incredulous. The girl had assured them that she was sure, but that was SO hard to believe.

Yaima showed her Treasure and said: "System, tell me about my powers over water."

"Then it is decided," Elian said, "We will attack the Legion."

"We will attack the Legion," Nahuel confirmed.

The boy was nervous and excited. It was the first time they would have a team battle.

"Ready?" Nahuel lifted the Treasure, ready to exclaim "transformation!" Yaima and Elian did the same.

"Oh, wow!" Gabu exclaimed, looking towards the pirate ship exchanging fire with the Legion. "You are not going to believe this, but there are two other Marked Ones on that boat. One of fire and one of wind."

Nahuel's mouth fell open.
