The battle of Kamsara - part 8

Alya felt good when she sent Jaex flying. She had grown tired of being a bystander, of not being able to help. What did Elian expect? That she would sit idly by? Nope, none of that. She would fight.

However, the Legion captain emerged from the rubble. The man shook his hair and dusted himself off. "That is all?" He spoke in an indifferent voice.

"What?" Alya raised an eyebrow. "But if I threw you against that wall."

"Which didn't even tickle me. Instead, you…"

"Me?" The girl looked at her armor and her eyes widened when she saw that her left shoulder pad was gone.

What? At what point did he touch me?' The girl checked the floor and paled when she saw that her shoulder pad was lying there. "You cut…"

"Yes, I managed to cut through your armor."

Alya glanced at Elian and the boy was pale, more than usual. And she would swear she saw a small bead of sweat trickling down his forehead.

'Yes, I understand, this man is on another level.'
