We are not alone in this ghost town

Nahuel ran to the other end of the roof that he was on. He looked ahead, where Igneous and Alya were, conversing. He tried to attract attention with exaggerated arm movements. 'I can't make any noise, because the specter might hear me.'

Neither Igneous nor Alya saw him, they were both focused on each other. Nahuel jumped and shook his limbs. 'Look at me! Look at me!'

Nahuel considered screaming, but then looked over his shoulder and saw that figure moving between buildings, in the black mist. 'No, I can't scream. Fortunately, that thing hasn't seen me yet.'

Then the boy had an idea. 'Of course! I can use my powers.' He didn't need to transform to manipulate earth. Although his powers were more limited, he could still harness them.

Nahuel latched onto a small stone on the ground, lifted it with a command from his mind, and then hurled it against the edge of the roof where Igneous and Alya stood. The sound of the stone hitting made both boys look at Nahuel.
