More interesting mystery and the hidden treasure.

Then we hurried out of there.  As I crossed the boundary of the palace, I heard a monstrous sound.  Looking back, I see that the wall of the palace is mixing with the soil by itself.

After a while, the palace was completely merged.  Then at 3:40 pm. We went back to the old man's house.  I told the man everything.

We woke up at 8 in the morning and had breakfast.  Just before I left, I thanked the old man and the old woman, and asked for some money.  The man did not want to take. Said, "I do not want to sell this relationship with you with money."

I was very pleased with the man's behavior. We headed home.

After traveling for about 6 hours, we returned home.  Then 3 o'clock. So we went to his house. From the next day onwards, I was busy with my work.  A few days passed. No one else had much contact.

One day I went out on a mission.  I am sitting in a shop having tea after finishing my work.

Suddenly Colonel came and sat beside me.  He said, "How are you Jayant?"

I'm fine. How are you?

I'm fine too. Can you come to my house tomorrow?

Tomorrow?  But why?

There is a need. I'll tell you tomorrow.

He stood up.  Said, "See you tomorrow, I'll go now."

  All right.

I also finished tea and left for home.  I went to bed at night and began to think, what happened that the Colonel called me.

The next morning I went to the Colonel's house and arrived.  I saw Mr. Haldar and he was already there. I said, "What's the matter, Colonel?" The Colonel said, "Sit down first, then I'll tell you."  I sat down.

He asked his servant to bring me some tea.

Colonel  said, "We were carrying one thing when we were returning from Sundargarh Palace. The thing is a mysterious book.  There is a mystery in the book, we have to verify that.  What do you say?"

Mr. Haldar said happily, "One more secret!" Very good.

I did not say a word. Even if I don't think so, it is not possible for me to say no to the Colonel's face.  Colonel said, "What happened Jayant?"

I don't mean again. I couldn't say the whole thing anymore.  I also agreed. Then you will leave tomorrow morning and reach the bus stand.

I will go there too.  Then I came home. I went out around nine in the morning.  I went to the bus stand and saw that they had not reached there yet.  I waited a while.

The two of them arrived.  The bus arrived 5 minutes later.  The three of us got on the bus.

On the way to the bus I said to the Colonel, "Where are we going?"

He said, "We are going to Dhuligarh. I have a relative in Dhuligarh and I will go to his house. I read in the book that there is an ancient house there.  And there is no hidden treasure."

I was surprised and said, "Hidden treasure! Didn't the villagers try to take it?"

There is a hint of hidden treasure.

If anyone wants to take the hidden treasure without a signal, a terrible vampire will be created.  What's the signal, Colonel?

You will know, we have reached Dhuligarh first.

At 5:34 pm we reached Dhuligarh bus stand.  I got off the bus and saw a man waiting for us.  The man is a distant relative of the Colonel. We arrived at the man's house with the man.  In the evening the three of us and the man are having tea together. Mr. Colonel introduced us.

He said, "This is Mr. Haldar, the private detective. And this is Jayant, the journalist."  Well, Shyamanta, do you have an old house in your village? Lately, ghosts are harassing in that house.  Again, there is hidden treasure. Then you know everything.

No no, I don't know everything.  I got a little book, it says. I want to know if the incident is true.  My curiosity grew a little.

Shyamanta Babu said, "The house is very old. That family was a famous  family. The man of that house was't a king. They had business. Their ancestors did different kinds of business. Sometimes sugar mill, sometimes tea garden partnership.  The business of import and export. At means the family once had a good name. But as the business rises, so does the fall. At one point, all their business fell. Sitapati Roy, an ancestor of the family, hid some property in the house. He left a puzzle for the next generation. He used to practice magic. Try to find the hidden treasure by digging the floor, but the result will not be good. "

Mr. Haldar said excitedly, "Puzzle! Tell me a little puzzle, I hear."

 "Give Bankim's favorite, Five punks;

 If the right tune, how far it went;

The head of the devotee is bowed, the feet are orange."

I said it's a weird puzzle.  Mr. Colonel said, "It's a puzzle, otherwise anyone would have found the hidden treasure."

The only thing that needs to be done is to find the hidden treasure.  Otherwise it is not possible to get.

Mr. Haldar said, "And the ghost thing?"  That too is true. The haunting of that house has been going on for some time now.

Most of the villagers have seen ghosts around the house.  I'll see you one day.

Mr. Colonel said, "What does the ghost look like? And he didn't hurt anyone?"

"It's like a giant black man," said Shyamantha.

I said, "Did anyone try to find the hidden treasure before? You didn't say that it would hurt to find the hidden treasure without the help of that puzzle. And what kind of damage can you say? We don't know exactly. So far no one has tried to find the hidden treasure without the help of the puzzle."  I have heard that their ancestor Sitapati Roy was a vampire in his last life.
