Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality.

A five-day trip took us seven days as we were not used to walking for so long, Lulu especially. We spent all our downtime trying to figure out how to read again. It was painful, but Lulu did it! She overcame it and started understanding her book by day five. 


On the other hand, I could only read simple words and phrases. I hate to say it, but if not for the pictures in the book, I would have been left in the dust by Lulu's newfound wisdom of magic.


But our long and gurgling journey was coming to an end. We had reached the massive walls of the city Ezor told us to go to. 


"Halt! What is your business here in the grand City of Vestful?" one of the guards in a full suit of armor said, pointing a spear at us.


"Knock it off!" another guard with only a chest plate said, and hit the other in the head, closing his helmet. "Sorry about Rob. He thinks it's funny to scare people new to the city. My name is Rai. Yours?"
