Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

The chimera didn't move all that much as we gradually got ready. We had spent so much time just staring each other down that even Elaine was up and casting spells under her breath to strengthen us to face the monster head-on.


The passing thought that maybe it wasn't as bad as Elaine said broke away when it roared and charged not for us but the exit. It didn't make sense at first until I noticed she shrunk ever so slightly as she ran.


That was when I knew that field was to keep her down here. The chimera couldn't break it for whatever reason, but it was open now. Who knows how much damage it could do if it got to the surface. We needed to stop it here! 


"I'm sorry," Tank whispered next to me. "And I'm sorry, my Guillotine."


Mana exploded out of Tank as runes appeared down his blade. He hurled it, aiming for the chimera. She jumped to the side, and the snake part of her hissed at us as the sword wedged itself right above the exit and began to shine.
