Qiao Jing didn't hide anything from the two little ones and answered them truthfully.
"Yes, it's Zhan Qipei. What's wrong?"
Pingping and Anan exchanged a glance, their faces filled with concern as they looked at Qiao Jing.
Pingping cautiously glanced at Qiao Jing.
"Sister Qiao, why are you unhappy?"
Anan silently walked over to Qiao Jing and took her hand.
"Sister Qiao, don't be unhappy. You have me and brother here!"
Qiao Jing, who usually showed no expression, now displayed a hint of astonishment on her face.
How did these two little ones notice?
She was indeed slightly uncomfortable, but it was just a little bit, and she believed she hid it well, hardly noticeable to others.
Gathering her thoughts, Qiao Jing squatted down and gently rubbed both little ones' heads.
"I'm not unhappy; you're thinking too much."
"Really?"
"Yes, truer than pearls."
A faint smile appeared on Qiao Jing's face as she suppressed the discomfort deep in her heart.
