Switched Positions (R16)

A palm-size white fox, a small red-feathered bird, and a foot-size lobster — Sue did not know whether she wanted to laugh or cry. 

The contract ritual was a success. The golden-colored lightning bolt tattoo behind her right ear was a clear indication that it was indeed successful. Like what happened to the flame tattoo on her forehead, Sue's newly acquired symbolic tattoo was absorbed in her skin, leaving no dent in its wake.

With the Kraken finally asleep in her arms, the storm finally calmed down. Aside from the mess in the swamp and the neighboring forests, there were no more signs that an intense battle had just taken place in the sky.

As soon as Sue's feet touched the land, a pair of arms swept her off. 

"!!!", Sue. 

The Kraken, in a lobster form, jumped out from Sue's arms after being stared at by a pissed-off Lucien Lupine.
