As the embers of the firework summon lit the sky, every leader of the beastmen's territory sported a solemn look. For years, after the death of Ruen Terin, they had lived and led their tribes in harmony – without getting worried about any beast from their neighbors' backyards. After all, Ruen Terin had no child born from him. It was only right for them to assume that he would not give the formidable legion to a foster child who was also a useless human.

But the consecutive firework-like summons–a type of spell that the Legion only used to summon the entire army–they had witnessed in the span of a week was a slap to their complacency.
