With palms covering her lips, tears started to pour once again.

The moment she came face-to-face with a sleeping child not older than Lotte who was cradling an infant or two from his front and back while he gripped a basket as if his little life depended on it.

The children were situated right inside the gates of the manor, barely reaching the threshold of the manor. A mere meter away from the exhausted children there lies a pile of ashes and charred bodies of panthers and wolves.
