Lullaby Of The Damned

"You are the undisputed king of the beasts whether he is alive or not." Kun Arin pointed at Lucien, who was sitting comfortably beside Sue Terin. "And besides, who else has the claim to the seat? Everyone is dead."

When Lucien was about to open his mouth, Zeno, Lucien's grandfather, cut him off midway with his gruff, deep voice. "And don't even start with mentioning your name, boy. You are far more valuable as a general than a leader."

"You do realize that you are practically telling that your grandson is brainless in front of his mate, right?" Lucien, whose grin was awkwardly stretched, gave his grandfather a warning gaze.

Shaking her head, Sue Terin merely pulled back Lucien's wrist which was happily received by the latter. 'Behave.' She sent a message to him.

'I am a wolf, woman. Not a dog.'

'Do you want to bet?' Sue Terin looked at Lucien with raised brows, a silent war of dominance in between them.
