The Frontier

A titan wall of bright red flames separated the entire mainland from the incoming legion of phantoms and parasite riders. The shrieks of despair encased the entire frontline of the winged invaders when the sudden wall of flames swallowed them whole, leaving nothing but a rain of ashes.

Vashati frowned.

"What do we do? Should we go all in?" asked a member of the Seven. "They have a hidden expert! I never thought that this continent can produce one without us!"

Another member of the Seven who was riding a phantom flew side by side with Vashati for a moment. Squinting his eyes for a minute or two, he exclaimed with his eyes round with shock and disbelief. "No way! No no no way, right?"

"What? What is it?" asked the members of the Seven.

Vashati remained silent.

"The person behind that wall of flames is a human! A person with the same roots as us!"

This time, he earned the eerie glance of the Seven's chosen boss—Vashati. "Say that again."
