  Hours later, he did not show up again. Our maids told him he locked himself in his room. Before I went to mine, I had the urge to come to his first. And just what happened weeks ago when I was still living here for the first time, when I did not know how what to do, his room's door was opened, so I put my ear on it, hearing such a melody from it. I was taken aback when a maid showed herself. She was the oldest maid here. She served the Brooks family for more than years, so I understood if she would tell me what I did was wrong.
