　　The ride back home was silent. Alpha Bryan said no word to Cassie nor did she say any words to him. She was busy thinking about Ethan. Seeing him brought back the pain she experienced when he rejected her and sent her out of the house.

Slapping the windows in beautiful drops. Cassie stared out looking at each one that slapped the transparent window. 


　　Almost immediately, the car came to a halt. Cassie was so lost in thought she didn’t know when the car stopped. They had reached home and didn’t know. 


　　Alpha Bryan was the first to get down from the car, it was as though he didn’t want to be in the same car with Cassie. He rushed down almost immediately and walked inside.
