　　Once it was closing hour, I grabbed my stuffs and began to hurry outside the building. I was running a little bit late for my own birthday party.


　　I needed to rush back to the apartment for a quick shower and a change of clothes before meeting Kara and Cooper. I haven't seen them since they arrived in town.


　　I still could not believe, Kara had successfully dragged Cooper along as well because of me. They seemed to be the only people available to hang out with me.


　　I would have loved to invite Carlos and Lily as well but I still haven't reached out to him just yet so I doubt he is aware am even here or if today was even my birthday.


　　Mom had almost cried me a river when we face time earlier. They both had plans to come around for my big eighteenth but turns out Dad had just secured another job and couldn't afford to ask for a week leave.
