　　At my word, the brown wolf I recognized as Carlos shook its furs like a wet dog would and took a step back and quickly recoiled back into his human form and I gasped not because I was shocked but because I was right.


　　It was indeed him as he stood an inch away from me, a half smile pulling at the corner of his lips slightly.


　　He smiled and took a step towards me and stopped. His smug grin getting wider by the second.


　　"Hey princess" he chirped happily at me and all of a sudden, his arms reached out and pulled me into his arms, his embrace engulfing me whole like a thick warm blanket and I just let my whole body sank into his chest with a deep sigh.


　　A sudden feeling of safety and comfort overwhelmed my senses almost immediately not to mention that free flow of familiarity tugging at my chest at the mere contact between us.
