"Nana, when will uncle and Asher and grandpa get here?" Alice, my four year old granddaughter whine for the tenth time in a row since she arrived with her father and mother to visit us.
Asher and his stepped out of the house not long a ago to retrieve more woods for our fire place as it was getting colder by the day.
"Come here baby. Stop troubling your grandmother" Jax told his little girl and beckon on her to go to him but she refused, shaking her head at him.
I squeezed at her cheek gently as I peered down at her crystal blue eyes. "Soon baby. Very soon. Your uncle and? grandpa will be here soon. They only went out to get more woods"
"Okay" she said with a nod before disappearing to go play with her brother but I know she will be back.
"Very trouble mom" Jax sighed in frustration and I smiled at him.
"At least she is as trouble as her father at her age"
Jax shook his head at me and said nothing further.
