He’s My Mate

　　“Hello Hector” a soft voice called to me yet all I could see was a blue lake surrounded by bright green grass.


　　I walked to the bench that was to the edge of the lake taking a seat. I wondered how I got here, last I remembered I was with Athena when… shit Athena. My hands quickly went to my stomach where I remember Vanessa having stabbed me. I must have been so deep in thought as when I opened my eyes a young blonde woman in a white flowing dress sat next to me. Judging by the power radiating from her she was someone important but for the life me I couldn’t register who.


　　“I’m Selena” her eyes kind as she placed her hand on top of my own.


　　“Sorry love but I have a mate” it came out blunter than I planned as I ripped my hand from hers, the only woman I ever wanted to touch me no matter where on my body was Athena.
