Ezra Jin Medina escaped from their house because her parents forced her to marry the son of their business partner.

　　I SEEM to be stunned by the absence and hear nothing but the sound of gunshots and the pounding of my heart. I could not move and at that moment, I seemed paralyzed.


　　I closed my eyes and waited for it to hit me but for a few more seconds, I was so startled when I felt no pain in my body.


　　Am I really not in pain or am I numb enough to feel nothing?


　　I wondered to myself if there was a bullet hit but I was surprised when I saw there’s none. I looked up at them. My eyes immediately widened in shock as I turned to the person in front of me.


　　“K-Kiana…” Her name was the only word that came out of my mouth.


　　She blinked twice and then looked at Raiko who’s lying on the ground and even at her hand, holding the most dangerous item. She let go of it and covered her mouth.


　　“Oh my God!" She exclaimed and stepped back.
