CHAPTER 52

  Axle’s Point Of View.

  I hung out with the six and ceaselessly teased Xavier. Today is his last day to be free because by the time he gets married, he will be limited in what he will do, especially since he will have his own family.

  I excused myself to go to the bathroom for a moment. I placed both hands on the sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I was standing there the whole time before I heaved a weary sigh and went out.

  When I got back, I went straight to the table where my cellphone was. I noticed Ezra staring at me but when I turned to her, she immediately averted her gaze. I shrugged my shoulders. She may be drunk by now.

  The smile faded from my lips when I saw Mykey’s number popped up on the screen. She has a message.

  From: Mykey T.

  I have something to tell you, Axle. Please, let’s meet at the coffee shop, 1:00 PM sharp. It’s an urgent matter.

  I pocketed my cell phone and talked to them again.
