CHAPTER ELEVEN

  The man Tristan came across earlier left questions in his head that he barely listened to Lydia and she noticed.

  "We can call it a day if you are exhausted," Lydia noticed that his mind was elsewhere.

  "No. Not at all. I'm sorry, I was thinking about something," Tristan.

  "Thinking about what? Do you mind sharing?" Lydia asked inquisitively.

  Tristan pinched the bridge of his nose before exhaling. "It's not something to talk about. It's no big deal at all. I'm sorry for zoning out. I will make it up to you," Tristan said.

  Lydia smiles. "It's no problem. If you do not mind excusing me. I have to use the restroom," she said, taking her small purse from the table with her.

  The moment Lydia left, Tristan felt a strange aura around him. He looked around swiftly, trying to figure out where the strange aura was coming from until it landed on one of the waiters.
