CHAPTER FORTY FOUR

　　Simon arrived at Jade's place later in the evening as soon as he was done with his work at the office.

　　"Welcome Mr Francis," the woman at the door said to Simon.

　　"Is Jade around?" He asked.

　　"No sir. She left the country last night." She informed him.

　　"What? She left? Last night? To where?" He asked all in one breath.

　　"To Greece. She didn't inform you?" The woman asked and he nodded his head.

　　Simon ran his finger through his hair as he recalled his last conversation with her. She had given him hints about her movement but he didn't understand.

　　Simon: What do you mean by ``you are flying away?"

　　Jade: I am seriously flying away. I am exhausted so I feel like flying away and you won't be able to stop me from flying away.

　　He had not understood what she meant last night until now.

　　"Fuck!" He cursed.

　　He was angry that she left without telling him, just when he planned on making a move on her. Just when he wanted to start courting her.
