FORTY SIX: THE GIFT

Cameron nodded to her every word, and used both of his hands to rub our heads. "You both are so beautiful" he cried. It was so relaxing honestly. And I was grateful that I entered the room, to intervene.

"I give you only three months, Cameron. After three months, the decision will be made. This is your third and last chance. After this, I swear, I'm no longer giving you any more chance" She sounded very serious.

After a while, he kissed her forehead and she let him. I could see he cared about her but he didn't know how to show it, still it didn't justify the emotional and physical abuse he has caused her, for eight or nine years.

If he had a bad temper, he should have fixed it before marrying her. If he didn't know how to love, he should have learnt it before asking her out.

"Baby, can you go to your room? We'll join you later, I promise. Your mother and I will make breakfast together, and serve you in bed" Cameron said to me.
