CHAPTER 134 – A Face from the Past

  I walked out of the pack house we were staying at. We had traveled east, following my gut and wolf’s instincts, and had ended up at the Cheregwen Pack, located only a few miles from the coast and their packs docks. Cheregwen had one the largest ports for import and export trade and the Alpha, Jonathan Price had been more than accommodating.

  I had been for an early morning run, Duke, my wolf needed to expel some energy and I agreed, we both still had so much pent-up adrenaline. I had hoped we would find something once we got here, but in the two days the three of us had been here, there was nothing. No gut feeling.

  Even though we were still a few miles off from the ocean, I could still detect the salt that hung in the breeze that floated in from the east. The scent carried from the ocean and the smell of seafood could just be noted.
