　　Monty left for Minnesota where one of Dominic’s grandsons had taken off to start another pack and business.  He could not stay where the memories of his wife and baby daughter died and were buried in the pack tradition.  He hoped to start life over and begin anew.  He knew that Elsa and Dominic would take care of his children but since his wife had died there, he couldn’t stay.


　　Elsa and Dominic began taking care of Zander, Cleo but since Monty didn’t name his other son, Dominic tried to think of a name.  He finally came upon the name of Lucas.  He looked like a fighter and was going to have to fight to survive.  Elsa began nursing Lucas and he fell in line with her other children except he began to want more that just his feeding.  So, after Elsa would nurse the others, she would go back and nurse him again.  Lucas nursed the length of time of three children.  Maybe he had been starving while still in his mother and that is why he fought to be born first.
