"Blood and Moon is a story between two packs. One master and the other slave.

　　I couldn't believe what had just happened. Adam shook me to respond, but I couldn't respond out of fear. The wolf Adam killed was Fred, Janet's older brother. I was in shock because I didn't expect them to go through with their stupid plan. I grew up with them. It was heartbreaking that they had wasted their lives the way they did.


　　Adam shook me, and I noticed the tears in his eyes. I felt his fear, and I knew what he was thinking, but how could I tell him what I knew without implicating everyone.


　　"Please Desiree, tell me what you know about this," he pleaded, "I will protect you," he said, and I began to shake my head.


　　"I am not a part of this," I said, shaking my head, and I knew I had to calm down to tell him what happened.
