CHAPTER 38 Quick Decision

I was shocked at my father's question, and I could not answer for a while. Desiree was right. My father would not let the moons go because he needed the numbers. He wanted to be served, and he wanted to be king.

"It is best you let them go," I told my father, and then he looked at me.

"Whose side are you on, Adam? If I let the Moons go, who will serve us? Your bitch might leave too," he said, and I smiled.

"You did say you will behead her if she doesn't get pregnant. Sending her away would be better." I pointed out, and he got angry.

"Never! I cannot allow a moon alpha to roam freely. We have preserved these lands with science to the best of our ability. I cannot allow them to take over our hard work." he said and went to sit on his chair. He was really mad.

"May I speak freely, father?" I asked him, and he nodded.
