CHAPTER 65 A Bid for Friendship

  Desiree

Adam returned to the apartment late in the night, and he was too tired to talk, so I let him be. Integrating the witches and trying to organise the new pack was taking a toll on both of us. I wanted to discuss Tim's findings with him, but I decided to let matters rest for the meantime. The morning wasn't far, and I intended to tell him then. He held me close, and soon I drifted off to sleep.

If I put them somewhere special, someone would know that they contained something important to me.
