CHAPTER 82 ISAIAH

“I’m telling you, Isaiah. She is not herself lately. We need to have her check,” Isabella ranted.

She’s been pacing back and forth, ranting about Zira’s behavior the past week. She’s been moodier than before and snapping at everyone apparently. I’ve been keeping my distance from since the day she burst into my office. It seems every time we meet now it turns into an argument or worse, so I’m trying to keep the peace until the baby is here. I’ve mostly focused my attention on Alaia.

She hasn’t been getting much sleep lately and whispering in her dreams. It’s nothing I could make sense of but one night when she was asleep I saw the drawings on her arms. They were faint but they looked like strange symbols. She was doing something and I wanted to find out what. Those symbols were not there on the night of our ceremony and yesterday they were completely gone. I needed to talk with Zack to see if he had a clue on what it is. I was really hoping it wasn’t magic.
