CHAPTER 194 The Demon

The library filled with the sounds of battle as the pixies threw bombs and the warriors went after the soulless. Zira stood in front of a group of white wolves that showed up at the last minute. Percy came to her side to hold her hand. She looked up at him with eyes shimmering silver/blue.

  “Niamh?”

She tightened her grip on his hand with a smile as her eyes went over the group. They were mostly young, scared but a bit determined in their stance. They were ready to fight, but Niamh still felt guilty about failing in the past. She didn’t want to disappoint them. Those emotions felt familiar to Zira. She was the same way. Trying to do everything by herself but no more!

“Niamh,” Zira said, “we can’t do this alone, anymore. If we’re going to stop this we’re going to need all the help we can get.” Zira could feel Niamh agreeing with her as she looked over the white wolves in the circle.
