(So here it goes, I am finally sharing Grace's point of view)


A steady beeping pulled me out of the darkness that surrounded me. But where am I?


I opened my eyes and quickly closed it because of the excess light and again opened it after adjusting it according to the light. It took a few blinks, but eventually, I could look around the room. Wires and needles covered my skin, sending messages to the machine that woke me.


A man was sitting in an uncomfortable-looking chair, and I was surprised and a bit confused to see him here.


'Eric, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Zayden?" I asked, and the beeping machine sped up. Eric quickly rushed to me.


'Thank god, Luna, that you are doing well now.", He whispered, looking at me.


I narrowed my eyes, wondering why he said so until I recalled the last thing which I had heard. 'Where is Zayden?" I groaned as I tried to sit up.
