«I wanted to tell you... Can we go outside? I need to discuss something with you...»

Tommaso had become agitated just by saying that sentence. If someone around him were saying something to a classmate, he wouldn't have understood it even if they were right next to him. His heart seemed to be pumping at a speed only a Ferrari in Formula 1 could match. It echoed in his head like an unstoppable echo, but he did his best to calm himself.

He couldn't panic, not in a place like this. And then, he had to take a moment of courage, for himself more than for anything else: better to do something than to regret not having done it. He would get used to making decisions he didn't like at all, he would take a deep breath, and finally free himself of those burdens he was carrying.
