"Hearts in Conflict: Ember and Emir's Uncharted Path"

Emir left the room with disappointment, muttering, "Okay..." He sat down on the stairs, deep in thought, when a certain sentence from Ember caught his attention, "She said she likes..." This means she has feelings for me, he thought excitedly. But in a matter of seconds, reality hit him: she was angry, very angry. What should I do? What should I do to make her happy? He pondered anxiously.

Knocking on Ember's room door interrupted his thoughts. "Who?" Ember responded.

"Eat something," Nana stood outside the door.

"No, I don't want to," Ember replied.

"It's not good for your health," Nana said, genuinely concerned.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not in the mood," Ember explained.

"Hey, girl, are you eating or not? It's terrible to waste food," Nana said in frustration.

Ember noticed that this was the first time she had heard Nana raise her voice. She opened the door, avoiding eye contact with Nana, and entered the bathroom, saying, "Leave dinner on the table; I'll eat it when I get back." After a moment, Ember came out of the bathroom, drying her face with a towel. She sensed someone standing nearby and assumed it was Nana. Trying to make amends, she said, "Nana, I'm sorry for what I did earlier, for making you angry."

When she removed the towel from her face, she was taken aback to see Emir standing in front of her. "What are you doing here? Just leave, or I will—" Ember began, her expression unpleasant.

Emir interrupted with a silly smile, "What are you going to do?"

"Ah! You're irritating me... I'm going back to my house," she declared.

"How?" Emir teased further.

"By sleeping?" Ember retorted with an arrogant look.

"Just eat something," Emir insisted, but before Ember could complete her sentence, he took her hand and pushed her gently against the wall, surprising her. "What are you doing?" Ember exclaimed in surprise.
