Chapter １６

   "Your buddy, Lily Hunter, is continuing to take it easy. Don't disturb her. The events of today have left a significant impact on her. I had spent the whole day trying to console her."

He made it seem as if he was helping Eva lay down, but behind her back, he exerted a lot of pressure on her and said in her ear,

"If Lily Hunter knew I fucked, she would allow my parents force me to marry yo!"

"You..."

she wanted to get up, but her frail body prevented her from moving, so she had to rest in bed till her condition improved.

"Good girl, get some rest while you can! It is necessary for me to scrub the evidence off of my body. I'd rather wait for you to give me the signal than risk them discovering our connection and compelling me to marry you against my will."

Jerry Hunter feigned to accidentally wipe her lips, then touched her own lips and walked away with a proud expression on her face.

Eva didn't refute. She watched him go with reluctance and animosity in her heart. She was trying to flee when he was having a bath, but Lily Hunter grabbed her at the door. She was frustrated because she couldn't get away.

"I... I can't believe I forgot to bring it."

She hastily fabricated an alibi for herself.

Lily Hunter cast a wary eye over the bag that was sitting at her feet. She swiftly stated that she was in a rush when she got out of the house and carried some garments that she couldn't wear before she even opened her lips to speak.

"I'll go with you. My brother told me that you were quite exhausted today..."

Although Lily Hunter approached her to offer assistance in carrying her baggage, she avoided her by turning to the side.

"No, I'm not weary," She covered her face with her hand and said,

"Just give me the password to go out." She was blushing.

"Oh! I am sorry, I did not remember to tell you this before. It's the same password written backwards!" She had already entered the password and was getting ready to dash out the door when Lily Hunter told her that she wanted to push the password for her.

However, she had already entered the password.

However, she was unaware that a guy she preferred to avoid was waiting outside the door to ring the doorbell when she got home.

Last night, when she saw the face that resembled the devil, she ran back to the villa and closed the door as soon as she got there.

Ervin Black waited eagerly when the doorbell rang, anticipating the response she would give. He was aware that the door would be opened by the proprietor of the property even in the event that she did not. Lily Hunter, without any hesitation, opened the door for her boyfriend. Eva was discovered before she could successfully hide.

"Who are you? Eva has to be let free!" Lily Hunter yelled at the guy who had unexpectedly entered the room.

The latter paid little attention to what was being said and instead forcibly removed Eva.

It was necessary for her to go to the restroom and get her brother to come out and assist. Ervin Black squinted his brows and gave a sidelong look at the lady who was around him

"There are males present in this dwelling. It would seem that there is never a shortage of males in your immediate vicinity!"

"I have decided that I will never work for your firm again! Never!"

She made an effort to draw her hand back, but in the end, she only managed to damage her wrist. She screamed in despair as she recalled how he had embarrassed her earlier that morning in the hidden area located under the corporate stairs,

"Additionally, my friend's brother is here at the house. If you don't let go, I'll call him!"

"You have already phoned the person you want to call if you wish to call them. Why do you feel the need to escape while carrying all of your belongings?"

Ervin Black forced her into a private automobile that was parked outside and was black and elongated. He did not give her a chance to put up a fight.

Jerry Hunter was unable to see her as he exited the bathroom with a bath towel. Eva was unable to get out of the automobile since she couldn't open the door or the window. She had no choice but to shout at the guy who was sitting in the opposite seat.

"I have decided that I no longer want any contact with you or any member of your family. It makes no difference to me whatsoever whether Bran Black likes me or not! Whether or if your other weird brother loves you is another matter that concerns your family. Stop involving me in these things!"

"You have the audacity to yell at me in such a manner for the very first time!" Ervin Black replied to her panic in a level-headed manner.

"You are no longer my superior in this company. I quit!" She kept roaring despite the fact that there was a note of unease in her voice.

"You probably already know that I'm going to sue you for stealing corporate secrets, but just in case: And apart from the fact that you're my customer, you're also my prisoner..."

He abruptly and icily lowered his face, grabbed her chin, and cautioned, "Get out of here!" "You should really think about what you're about to say before you do it! Don't be a bother to me. Simply strip you down to your underwear and then execute you!"

"Er... Ah! I don't understand why you're treating me like way. No! Ah..." A gorgeous woodland garden home came into view as the black extended luxury automobile came to a halt in front of it. Only because a window was cracked open did the frenzied chanting of the ladies in the automobile sometimes spill out into the cabin.

Bran Black, who had just returned from seeing Eva at her home, was feeling a bit down and discouraged. When he drove by the vehicle driven by his oldest brother, he couldn't help but be drawn in by the peculiar sound it made. When he approached the scene out of curiosity, he was taken aback by what he saw, and he came dangerously close to passing out.
