Chapter 35

My gaze lingered on his lips before I grabbed a glass of water and offered it to her.

“Feed me,"Dason held my arm and eyed me attentively.

I had to place the glass rim on her lips and tilt it gently to give him water.

After Dason drank the water, his face was crimson.

As soon as I set down the empty glass, he leaned against me.

Not knowing what to do, I froze.

“It's great to see you, Allen.”

Dason squinted and grinned at me like he was inebriated.

“Don't abandon me, Allen”

His blunt remarks made me cough so hard.

“Are you Daina's uncle, Allen?

Leaning on my chest and looking up at me, Dason massaged my eyes and eyebrows.

I cocked my head.

"Perhaps, but I don't remember her. But everytime I see her, I get the impression we were close previously."

"Yes, that must be true," Dason agreed.

He touched my lips with his finger as she spoke.I was going to die.

My eyes widened and I tensed.

He surprised me by being so forward. So anxious, I didn't know what to do.
