Chapter 8

“Sorry sir, you have not paid successfully,” the salesman said.

“What?” Broderick Jones was stunned. He had no successful payments, but the one who did...

He instantly saw Reuben Jones!

No way, how can this poor ghost receive two million?

“Mr. Suton made the successful payment,” the salesman said. Your bank card balance is low, Mr. Davis, and the payment failed.

Everyone was astonished by the salesperson's statements and glanced at Reuben Jones in shock.

"Impossible!" “You must be mistaken,” Eva Taylor said forcefully. He has no employment. A million dollars in the bank card!

“I didn't make a mistake,” the salesman responded, keeping quiet. Mr. Suton did actually pay. .”

Reuben Jones grinned and said to Broderick Jones, “Mr. Davis, why didn't you pay? And you are the company's CEO. “How can you not afford that?‘

“Mr. Davis, please swipe your card again.” To Broderick Jones, the salesperson stated,

Everyone in the store stared at him.

He tightened his teeth, squinted, and trembled his fingers.

People began chatting since he hadn't swiped his card in ages.

“I believe they were meant to be together. It's hard to believe his wife is worth hundreds of millions. “They mock me like a pauper.”

People's ridiculing voices were loud enough to be heard by Broderick Jones and Eva Taylor, causing them great distress.

Eva Taylor couldn't stop. She eventually got to Annabelle Smith. Ultimately, she felt embarrassed. “Hey! What? Yeah! So my hubby is broke? He earns more each month than you do. Why do you laugh at him?

“Since your spouse is so kind, check out.” Mr. Suton has already paid and awaits your arrival.

Ms. Taylor was enraged. “Husband, just look at  these poor guys,” she said, taking his arm. 2,000,000 may be repaid in two to three months!

But Broderick Jones was cool. He smirked, his face darkening.

“Enough.” “I won't buy you some trash jewelry for two million,” Broderick Jones said to Eva Taylor.

“Broderick Jones, what do you mean?” Eva Taylor said, puzzled. “You bought me jewelry!”

Others sneered and gloated at her.

“Please make the payment within 10 minutes or you will not be able to enjoy the  discount package,” the salesman grumbled.

Reuben Jones sneered at Broderick Jones' twitches. He felt slighted. He wanted to refute but couldn't. What made him so full?

Then why do you believe I forgot my bank card with the money? For the overweight guy, Broderick Jones swelling face

“Oh? How much is your credit card now? Nobody has half a million bucks like you.”

“Of course I have !” said Broderick Jones, enraged at Reuben Jones' presence. “This card has a million!

“Well, it seems Mr. Davis is still wealthy,” Reuben Jones commented slyly thereafter. Bank cards have one million.”

,” Reuben Jones added. It's not much, but it's something. Only 400,000. Everybody is a friend. I'll charge a portion and you may pay $400,000." Reuben Jones frowned.

A boy named Reuben Jones had tricked Broderick Jones!

“This…” For nothing, Broderick Jones wanted $400,000. No way.

This scumbag mocks people so badly. On the way out of the jewelry shop, Broderick Jones was ashamed, and his face was green. I stumbled over the threshold, thumped, and fell to the ground, provoking a shout of laughing and embarrassing myself.

Eva Taylor trembled uncontrollably, her cheeks paled.

So she screamed, without saying hello, and ran away.

With a guy in front of Annabelle Smith, Reuben Jones raised his lips slightly. Why shouldn't Annabelle Smith's opinion of him change?

Do you still want to purchase these two diamond necklaces?” the salesman asked Reuben Jones hesitantly.

Why not buy?

As a result, Mr. Davis won't get the  discount since there's just one ginseng left.

” Reuben Jones agreed. I'll swipe.”

When Reuben Jones repaid, he said the payment had failed this time.

Huh? So, what? He certainly has 20.

So he took the incorrect card. Annabelle Smith gave him this card. The passwords were all his birthday and there were four million in it.

“Reuben Jones, you have to disgrace me like this?” Annabelle Smith replied.

“Annabelle, listen to me, this is a misunderstanding,” Reuben Jones said, seeing Annabelle Smith's fearful countenance and explaining the situation. I made a mistake. Another card...”

“Enough!”

The crimson eyes of Annabelle Smith were fixed on Reuben Jones.

Reuben Jones worried as his scalp became numb. “Listen Annabelle. I'm sorry to embarrass you. I made a mistake. “This card has $40 million!”

“It is better to marry a dog than you!” Annabelle Smith said, disgusted.

His body shook and he couldn't breathe.
