Chapter ２０

it is Annabelle Smith.

When Reuben Jones saw her, her body shook, her nose was sour, and the anguish and sorrow in her heart surged,.

“Reuben Jones!”

Annabelle Smith screamed out his name.

He lingered for a time, and he didn’t stop, speeding up his pace to depart.

Annabelle Smith saw him depart and raced after him.

Reuben Jones heard her footsteps, speeded up, and rushed immediately behind.

Annabelle Smith also ran, but she was wearing high heels , she accidently got her foot and fell to the ground with a yell.

Reuben Jones glanced back automatically and saw Annabelle Smith dropped to the ground with tears on his face. His steely heart suddenly thawed.

Annabelle Smith sat on the ground, staring at him aggrievedly. He groaned in his heart and blamed himself again for uselessness. He stepped back and assisted her to seat on a stool next to him. Without commenting, he quietly assisted Annabelle Smith.

“I'm sorry, Reuben...” Annabelle Smith sighed.

Reuben Jones was silent. He made Annabelle Smith feel at ease. He rose and departed. He didn't glance at Annabelle Smith the whole time.

Annabelle Smith clutched his garments and pleaded, “Don't go...”

“Will you marry Jeffrey Brown? “  Reuben Jones attempted to sound natural, although he shook slightly.

“I was wrong, will you forgive me this time?” pleaded Annabelle Smith.

Reuben Jones' heart touched upon hearing this, particularly Annabelle Smith's weeping.

Reuben Jones is not a cold-hearted guy. He knew he was wrong when he watched Annabelle Smith plead for him. “Yeah,” he answered, his wrath gone.

Annabelle Smith grinned.

When they returned, Myron Smith and others awaited them. They rushed over to welcome Reuben Jones and apologized, emphasizing that what occurred was a mistake and would never drive you away. 

He forgiven them once Reuben Jones recognized their sincerity.

“Then swiftly contact the Jones Family leader to demonstrate that this is a misunderstanding!” 

Reuben Jones beckoned Aries Jones. 

The Smith family sighed after hanging up the phone. “Reuben, what is your affiliation with the Jones Family?” Myron Smith inquired. “Why didn't you say?”

Everyone held their breath and glanced fearfully at Reuben Jones.

“Last month, when I returned to my homeland , I saw Bowen Jones suffering from heat exhaustion and saved him. He thanked me and said he owed me a favor, so I invited him over to help the Smith family. Who knows...” Reuben Jones paused here

He saw the Smiths' uneasy faces.

Paisley Smith slapped himself hard,!

Others regretted repeatedly. They were all present last month when they came home to worship. I knew I'd encounter Bowen Jones, and I wouldn't miss the chance to murder them!

Reuben Jones is pleased to see their remorse. He hasn't been bullied or discriminated against in the Smith family recently. When he returned to his hometown to honor his ancestors last month, no one helped him clean up.

“Reuben, because Bowen Jones owes you a favor, he will absolutely not deny your request?” said Isidore. Also, your brother is married.”

“Yes, you are a brother-in-law,,” Kyle Smith said. .”

Reuben Jones was displeased to hear this. When did Giles Smith appreciate ?

“How old is your Giles Smith? When is Reuben going to be able to introduce him to someone?” An older Smith family member grinned and said to Reuben Jones, ” I used to tell  you were a promising.  Bowen Jones iswealthiest man. . So Reuben urges him to personally congratulate the elderly guy and hand it away. So many nice presents, Reuben, you have earned our family's respect!”

“Reuben, since our Smith family firm is having problems, tell Patriarch Jones, let him take care of our Smith family more in the future, we Smith family  Will remember your credit!”

The others did not want to be left behind and stepped up to Reuben Jones.

Reuben Jones felt nauseated just looking at them.

“I can't assist everyone,” he said.

“What? “What do you mean, Reuben?”

“You rescued Bowen Jones.” Our request is minor to you. ”Are you hesitant to assist even this little favor?”

They all started blaming Reuben.

“Elders, it's not that I don't want to assist you, but that I can't. .”

This startled them all.

Then Reuben Jones said, “Oh, I asked Bowen Jones over to wish Grandpa happy birthday.” You drove me away, enraged Bowen Jones, and tried to ruin the Smith family. I just phoned. Bowen Jones' fury was soothed, but his debts were repaid. They are the heads of the Jones Family, who may come and go as they please.”

Their faces were rigid, and they felt as though they were chewing crap. They wouldn't have driven Reuben Jones out if they known the outcome!

“We don't want Bowen Jones to repay the favor, but he may always return the birthday present he gave grandpa?” Paisley Smith wondered. Grandpa gave it to him, thus it belongs to the Smiths!

Then there was the 10 million dollar cash gift from Bowen Jones! Isn't this worth $20-30 million?

“They returned all the birthday gifts?” Reuben Jones was odd.

“They are all returned. Please contact Reuben Jones and let Bowen Jones send the birthday present. How may a gift be returned? Others mirrored Paisley Smith's unhappiness. 

“Dear elders, how can you let Bowen Jones return the birthday gift?” moaned Reuben Jones.”

NO WAY!

“Twenty to thirty million dollars flew away...”

Many Smith family members wept and mourned.

“It's all to fault for you creatures, you must be nasty to Reuben Jones,” Myron Smith said, kicking Reuben Jones out and offending him. Jones! Originally, our Smith family could embrace the Jones family's thigh, and now we have everything. Your monsters even stole Lao Tzu's birthday present! Lao Tzu murdered you. y'all!”

Myron Smith lost it and smacked Paisley Smith and the others in the face. The setting was thrilling.

Knowing Bowen Jones won't speak to Reuben Jones indicates Reuben Jones is worthless. The Smith family has reverted to their old dislike for Reuben Jones, even complaining that he didn't warn Bowen Jones. They blew an opportunity to earn a fortune!

On the drive home, Isidore, Reuben Jones' mother-in-law, started chatting and poking him in the forehead.

“Mom!” Annabelle Smith screamed at Isidore. Reuben Jones has done nothing wrong! Our Smith family would have closed if Reuben Jones hadn't called Bowen Jones to beg.

“Hey! Annabelle Smith, where were you when I said you were standing? “Did I say he was wrong?” Isidore said, her arms crossed. Will today's events occur if he told him to rescue him earlier? I suppose he doesn't love this family! If you don't mention that, you must accompany him to bed with the king's 20 million. Reuben Jones is cautious. A man. Will he dismiss it? What does Bowen Jones think about $20 million?!”

Annabelle Smith was likewise saddened by this.
