A Child with Haunting Nightmares

It appeared the door had been unlocked.

Rain's palm hung mid-air as the door got farther away from her and continued to widen the entry.

Only when the door had opened halfway_ creaking as it did so_ to reveal the four-poster bed frame within the chamber did it finally halt.

Rain stiffened for a while.

Her eyes slightly narrowed when they met the view of the man slumbering on his bed.

Her countenance showed subtle relaxation on realizing he was sleeping and she took the leisure to even sneer at him; he was still sleeping like a log of wood when the sun had brightly risen like this!

Frustrating her must be a really exhausting task...

The peaceful sleeping image of his felt so unreal, for he looked like he'd never caused trouble all his life.

The him, awake, and the man fondled calmly on the bed was a typical irony.

The corner of Rain's lips lifted even higher in a cold sneer.
