"What were those noises?"

Although the noise pitch that precipitated from behind her was like a soft whisper, it didn't fail in startling Rain. She felt worse knowing who it belonged to, and in quick response, sharply turned and acted accordingly.

"Prince Derek! Are you aiming at killing me with fright?" She gasped exaggeratedly, with a hand to her chest to perfect her pretense. She was indeed startled by his sudden presence, but her act was merely to avoid his question.
