A Joke Got Drained

The artificial moon shines bright as our footprints vanish while walking through the darkness. The crows squeak even if there's none. Even with advanced technology, this world can't imitate the dangers of reality. Even a kid won't have trauma if they heard it, except this one person hugging my arm tight.

We're still at the plains, halfway before we reach the forest from before. The ones leading our team towards our destination is Kenshin and Mayumi. Saori and Aimi are both In front of I and Asami, who has been bothering me ever since we left the village.

"Hey, can you please stop? I can't move properly," I complained.

"B… B… But… Please…" Asami said with her shrill voice and curly lips that flows like a wave. Her face turned ashen not because of the moonlight. "Don't leave me… please…"

As a prank, I tried pulling out her grip but she just held it tighter. If I'm a thin person, my arm is already dislocated.
