In a world where killing is already a common occurrence, a reaper will rise. An assassin's blood stain the skin of a young girl living a simple life. With her identity buried in her past, she kills every killer on her list without hesitation. Her journey inside the tower will lead her to an immortal who will guide her in changing her single-sided mentality.

As the two protagonists attempt to escape the deadly games, they will soon delve into the history of the game. In particular, they will learn what it means to be a Descendant of Death.

Kenshin starts. "The start of the game is defined by someone assigned by the administrator to be the parent, the main tree. From what I know, they call it the 'Hosts'. Overall, there are only two hosts in this game.

"A Host can only be killed by the other to claim victory. As far as I know, this rule only appears to the host themselves. One of them is Zeke, the survivor's host."

"Then who's the zombies' host?" I asked.

Suddenly, Kenshin and Seki narrow their eyes at me.

"You should already know that by now," Seki followed up.

"It's better if he didn't know," Kenshin said.

"He's our enemy, Kenshin! And you trust him more than me!?" I exclaimed.

"It's not an issue of trust, Ikeda. If nothing was planned, mass murder will happen."
