"Get up." Said one of the guards, in a dialect that I could understand very well.
Reluctantly getting up to my feet, I took my time to dust off my dirtied clothes and skin, taking just the right amount of time to piss off the guards, but not to the point where they would hit me for taking too long.
Connecting a metal chain, presumably made by a fabrikator, to the chains bound my hands, they led me along a white corridor.
Seeing this, I realized that the whole building had been engineered by fabrikators to be grisha-proof.
It would definitely be a hard task to try and escape from this place.
But, my mind was already whirring as I planned the best escape routes.
After all, my parents hadn't taught me that stuff for nothing.
Actually, I wondered how they were doing. Were they proud that their son had died from choking on bird poop?
Well, they had probably forgotten about me already, so, what could I do, I was infinite worlds away from them anyways.
Well, back to the situation, I was finally led into a room with a one way mirror on the other side.
The guards pushed me down into a chair in front of a metal table, a bulging white envelope on it, as they chained both my hands and legs to the chair.
'Welp, time to become a human guinea pig!'
Taking out a white powder, a scientist dressed in a white lab coat started forcibly stuffing the white powder down my throat.
And, I let him, as I swallowed the white powder greedily, knowing that, as I was now, my heartrending powers were trash, and this was the only way to forcibly boost them in such a short amount of time.
If I remembered correctly, after Nina took Jurda Parem, she was able to immediately make thousands of soldiers go unconscious, and she was even able to force a person to do actions against their will!
So, I should be getting some of those powers too, but, because those effects would only be temporary, and I would be addicted for the rest of my life after I took a second dose, I knew that I would have to escape from this facility right after I took the Jurda Parem, as that was the only way that I could not become a mindless slave.
Anyways, as the drug started entering my system, I immediately felt it, the instinctive power that was coursing through my veins.
But, the thing was, I just pretended to not be affected at all by the drug, just keeping a straight face, as I acted fool until they freed up my arms.
Then, I would wreak havoc across this entire facility.
Using my demon body, I controlled my muscles as much as possible, so that there was no weird movements to indicate that the drug had affected me, as I waited, the pain starting to become excruciating.
Finally, after a long wait, a scientist walked back into the room and started recording some things about my body's state on a clipboard.
I just sat there, staring at the scientist during this process, urging him with my eyes to go faster and faster as I was almost at the point where I couldn't hold it anymore.
Then, as I saw the guards walk into the room, I thanked the gods.
Unlocking my chains from the chair, as soon as this was done, I immediately used the entirety of my demonic strength to break through the specially made fabrikator chains.
"Crack!"
And, before the cracked chains could even touch the ground, I had already started, knocking out all the people around me whilst taking control of one of the scientist's body.
Moving it, I slowly started making my way out of the facility as I knocked out anyone that came in a 100 meter radius of me.
Using the scientist's credentials, I was able to make it outside of the gray facility, seeing a dark forest in front of me.
Releasing the scientist, I started chowing down on him as I immediately used my currently buffed heartrender powers and my demonic body to enhance my body to its limits.
Like the flash, I sped through the forest, traveling at a speed of thousands of kilometers per hour, my speed 3 times faster than what it had been when I was in the Demon Slayer world.
Finally, I stopped as I crossed the mountains which were the border between Shu Han and Ravka.
Knowing that I was finally in a place where my kind was accepted, I stopped the enhancement of my body as it had already destroyed more than 50% of my living tissue, before falling asleep immediately as to recuperate.
My sleep wasn't peaceful at all that night as I twisted and squirmed on the forest floor.
...
I woke up to find myself still on the forest floor, my appearance all muddied and begger-like as my tattered clothes told my entire story.
But, the thing that was most noticeable about my body right now was it's incessant shivering, a shivering that caused my body to almost look like it was glitching, hard.
'Jurda Parem.'
That was my only thought for a little while as I mindlessly wandered around the forest like a zombie.
You see, my mind was still conscious, and I was currently making a plan, but it seemed like my body wasn't following anything I told it to do as it continued to just wander through the forest.
Finally, I stumbled across a town in the middle of the nowhere I was in.
'Ah, isn't this Sikursk?'
It was a little town that was barely mentioned in the novels, but still, a town was better than nothing.
I just hoped that someone would take this sickly grisha in.
I guess that, although my body walked into the town in hopes of finding Parem, it was still a happy development for me, as I could, hopefully, find a place to safely stay for a while.
I knew that, although it wouldn't last long, it would be enough for me to get over this addiction.
After all, my demonic body wasn't just for show. I bet that I would be rid of these withdrawal symptoms by the end of the second week.
So, all I could do was act for right now, as it really didn't take much for me to make others believe I was a sickly grisha, as Parem was barely known out of Shu Han circles as of now.
Falling down onto the middle of the road, I closed my eyes once again, as I knew that, once morning came, I would probably be helped.
After all, who wouldn't help a grisha in need?
