the both of them were locked up in rooms opposite each other. the moment they threw Riley into the small dark room, locking the door from outside, she crawled to the wall, tapping it countless times in panic " Aiden? Aiden?" calling out to him. Aiden who was on the other side in pain struggled to get to the wall

" AAAA" he cried

" Aiden? is that you "

" yeah.. it..me " breathing heavily. she was a bit relieved to know that he was still alive

" Are you alright? are you still in pain? are you healing? how bad does it hurt" she cried

" Hahaha" he laughed softly at her countless questions

" what's funny Aiden " she cried " you are in pain and you think it's funny" the tears ran down her cheek nonstop. Aiden didn't replay, he slowly sat properly. resting his back on the wall, listening to her sob that filled the room like a sad melody. he was hurting so much but his heart hurt even more. Riley was crying because of him and here he was, feeling useless, unable to take her in his arms and wipe her tears. kiss all her tears away

" Riley " he called, trying to sound as normal as possible but failed. she could hear that he was in pain from the way his voice shakes and this made her cry even more " Riley " calling again. this time he gave up on sounding ok

" yes "

" I...i...will be alright "

" you don't sound like you will " her voice was weaker this time

" I will...i...i.I just need " he takes a deep breath and regrets immediately " fuck " whispering " need a few days. I promise"

folding her knees, she wrapped her arms around her legs while resting her back on the wall. she looked up with eyes closed and they were both taken by silence. the only thing heard was Riley's sob which faded in a while as well. Riley could feel her body growing weaker. the bracelet on her was putting her energy to sleep faster than the one Anthony put on her that day

" fuck " he whined in pain

" Language" Riley corrects, making Aiden give a short laugh

" that....." he paused " was unexpected " They were taken by silent ones again. and they just enjoy the peace. Aiden couldn't stop wondering why Riley did it. she had a chance to leave but she chose to stay. she chose to say because of him. even after hurting her.

" Why?" he broke the silence

" Why what? " eyes still closed

" you... you should have left " he squeezed his forehead in confusion " why?" Riley slowly opened her eyes. thinking deep of his question 'why?'. why did she do it

" I guess I just couldn't. " raising an eyebrow " I couldn't leave you "

" but you..you should hate me "

" yeah I should" smiling at how stupidly in love she was with Aiden " but I don't. besides if I leave what next?. I have no means of going back. I will just be stuck in London and even if I go back I have nothing left in my life " she closed her eyes once again thinking about everything that has happened in her life in just one year " and to think of everything properly. you are all I have left. you are the only one by my side "

" even after... lying to you "

" you had no choice" tears ran down her cheeks once again " you did it against your will. they were hurting you so you had to obey. and " she hesitates " and I am sorry for not believing that you had your reasons. I am sorry I compared you with everyone else in my life "

" Riley...aaaaaaaa" the pain hit him hard, making it difficult to speak

" Aiden " she panicked " what's happening"

" am....fine" panting " stop...crying..it makes it hurt...more "

" am sorry " trying to hold back her tears while wiping her face " am sorry "

" Riley. I will be fine ok "

" it will take time for you to get better"

" what is that " with full interest in her tone

" stop crying," he said focusing on a smile " and sleep. I can feel how...how weak you are. th....that bracelet is draining you "

" you don't sound fine.... stop crying and sleep "

" ok. I will try "

Wilson is in his office with Linda who was lying on her cheat on the sofa shirtless, while Wilson sat on the table as he applies ointment to the bruise on her back " just a little more " he said to Linda who was whining in pain

" Riley will pay for this " with anger in her tone

" come on let the little girl be. she has had enough for one night," Wilson said calmly

" here you are again. Backing her up " rolling her eyes

" I am not backing her up. " applying ointment on the last spot " it's done" he informed. watching her sit back up, she grabbed her shirt from the corner and slowly put it on " I don't want her to hurt you again" he took her hand in his while locking his gaze with hers " just let it go. we now have her under control and it's all due to your intelligent idea " Linda's Anger was replaced with a bright smile " don't waste your precious time on her"

" ok" she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss " but still. it is frustrating. she fooled us. the time we should have used in training her to become stronger, we wasted that time in teaching her control "

" That was Aiden's doing"

" What makes you say that" with an eyebrow raised

" Riley has no real reason to hide it from us. Aiden is the only one who knows our true motive so he told her to do it to delay us so he could come up with whatever plan to stop this operation " he explained

" makes sense" she frowned " he needs to be punished

" I got that covered didn't you see "

" that is not enough" she marks

" if you don't want Riley to turn against us we better be careful with the way we play with him " Linda rolled her eyes

" Come on " he pulled her in for another kiss
