Chapter 47

The next day went by very quick. Aiden was right. it was very difficult trying to communicate with Lisa without being watched. so he put a note in the pocket of her lab suit which she reads in the bathroom and by the end of the day she passes Aiden another note.

Lies on the bed next to Aiden. He handed the note to Riley. she hides the note inside the shit so the camera won't notice it

" I think I can but I have to analyse it first and I need the lab equipment to do so " Riley reads the note and a frown made its way to her face " fuck it " under her breath " how can we use the lab when we are being watched. it's going to be mission impossible "

" mission impossible was possible in the end," Aiden said in his calm tone

" this won't be " rolling her eyes

" we can think of something " trying to give her hope

" Whatever we do, we are being watched. if only there is a way to distract them " with a serious tone. Riley was slowly drawn into deep thought, and so was Aiden

Distract them. were they a way to draw their attention to the camera also with our Wilson noticing? " we can " Aiden announced as an Idea hit him

" We can?" with full interest

" yes. the meeting will be held in a few days which means that Wilson, Linda along with the majority of the guards will not be around. leaving the mountain with few scientists and guards "

" so.." wondering where he was heading to

" so if I can get him to make me stay behind and you create a distraction then Lisa and I can carry on " He explained to Riley who got more confused

" I don't get you "

" I will create a sin so I can stay behind "

" That means you will go through pain ones again " looking into his eyes

" yes "

" No Aiden " shaking her head in disapproval " that is not happening "

" Riley "

" Aiden we have talked about this " about to seat up, Aiden caught her arm bringing her back down, he wrapped his arms around her " let me go " she struggled

" Riley!!" he yelled but not in an aggressive manner " listen " Riley instantly became calm, with both eyes locked " let me do this, ok? "

" But Aiden..." he cut her off

" let me protect you while you protect the world from him " they were both taken by silence. she was debating to herself he could see it in her eyes. Aiden didn't give a shit if she gets hurt as long as it was for her. he will protect her no matter the consequences " please " he whispers

" o....ok " with a very weak tone. Aiden smiled at her, pulling her in for a hug " promise you will be ok "

" I promise " he kisses her forehead

" how do I create the distraction " squeezing her forehead in confusion

" you can control things from where ever you are right?"

" I am still working on it " nervously

" you can and you will. from wherever you are you will create a distraction "

" ok " she gave a slight nod in understanding " how will you create a sin "

" how good is your acting from 1 to 10 "

The next day at the lab went by as usual. Riley was completely exhausted. " you did well today princess " Wilson complimented her success with a warm smile. if only that smile was honest " take her " he instructed, immediately Riley ran to him

" I want to wait for a little," she says. Wilson raised an eyebrow in confusion

" What!!!"

" I want to wait for Aiden, please " Riley watch him fall into deep thought. her eyes suddenly glowed and the remote in his pocket floated out into the air

" Mmmmm... sure. but if you try something stupid, you know the consequences right?"

" I won't dare "

" Ok " he turns to the guards, immediately she grabs the remote glad that no one saw it " give her time " they nodded and walked out.

Riley sat on the patient's bed. through the glass, she could see Aiden in the next room being tested. it took a while before their gaze locked and she gave a slight nod informing him that it was time for the next move

Aiden and Riley walk side by side with guards surrounding them as they head back to the room. Aiden gave Riley one final look and winked.

In a blink of an eye, his eyes glowed throwing every guard in the air. they crashed into the wall and landed on the ground in pain " now " he took her hand and they make a run for it, knowing very well that the cameras were watching. They got rid of every guard that came their way. Aiden was so aggressive that Riley feared that he may kill someone. the sound of a ringing alarm took over the place, all lights began to flash red.

taking one final turn, they got to the main lab. making their way to the elevator, they stopped at their track as over twenty guards appeared in front of them " out of the way " Riley says to them

" what the fuck are you doing " Wilson's voice interrupted from behind. yes, everything is going as planned. Aiden thought to himself

they both turn to look at Wilson who didn't look pleased and Lisa who was standing right behind him, knowing very well of their plan

" Getting her way from you " Aiden spoke confidently as he gave Riley's hand a slight squeeze

" wow. that is very confident of you two. it seems that both of you have forgotten that I am in control " with an eyebrow raised " Riley, have you forgotten what I can do to him "

" fuck you " she cursed making Wilson frown. they watch him slide his hand into his pocket and a smile made its way to Aiden and Riley's face

" what the fuck " with a confused expression on his face

" looking for this? " Riley displayed the remote for all to see " you have no fucking control " she announced and his eyes fell wide open.

" How did...." he didn't finish his question " get them " he instructed and all the guards headed for them. Riley's eyes glowed and they all stopped making Wilson confused

" fuck you " she whispers to them and just like that they fell on their knees screaming in pain

" let's go " Aiden took Riley's hand once again, heading for the elevator

" Stop right there " Linda's voice interrupted. it took you long enough. Aiden thought to himself. they turn their head to see Linda holding another remote in the air. both eyes fell wide open, pretending to be surprised " you leave when we say so " with an even smile she pressed the button and Aiden went down instantly

" aaaaaa" screaming in pain

" oh my God Aiden " down on her knees " Aiden " she calls. even if it was all planned, Riley still couldn't handle seeing Aiden like that

" stupid brats " Linda cursed and pressed the button again in anger

" fuuuck " Aiden cried. his body was in boiling pain, his eyes began to bleed and Riley broke into tears

" Aiden " she cries. she thought she had already prepared her mind for it but it turns out she hasn't. she will never be prepared to see Aiden like this. never.

" you thought that you could escape didn't you " Wilson spoke while taking a few steps closer " I will admit, that was a smart move you to pull there. if my dear Linda hasn't shown up you two will be out of here. " Linda smiled at his compliment

" I hate you " Riley cries

" I know and it hurts. it hurt me to know that even my daughter doesn't see my vision"

" I think I have been going too easy on you. you need an iron hand " with a frown
